1. Air Force day was celebrated at the Army Goodwill School Dawar, Gurez with an aim to educate the students regarding our Air Force and to motivate them for joining the elite service.
2. As part of the program a lecture on Air Force was taken by the education JCO in which the students were enlightened on various entry schemes for joining Air Force. At the end of the program students flew hand made tricoloured paper planes to celebrate the occasion.
3. Currently, there are no Air Force personnel from Gurez and such an initiative will go a long way in increasing recruitment of the locals in the service.
4. The Teachers and children welcomed this initiative with much enthusiasm and happiness and appreciated the efforts of the Army.
