There was Zendaya and then there was SRK, but Apna Bhidu Jackie Shroff stole the show at NMACC fashion gala

‘Apna Bhidu’ Jackie Shroff. There is no one in Tinsel Town cooler than him. You can argue with the wall if you disagree. Just kidding, but seriously, Jaggu Dada, yet again, proved that his ultra-cool persona is unmatched as he attended the extravagant launch event of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai on April 1.
Picture this, a glamorous fashion gala with a constellation of stars walking the pink carpet in their dazzling and dramatic best. From the likes of Zendaya, Gigi Hadid and Tom Holland to our very own Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Rekha and Alia Bhatt, the event was a sartorial feast with everyone decked in ostentatious and carefully-selected ensembles. But wait, who stole the show, you ask? Of course, it was none other than our beloved Jaggu Dada himself!
The veteran actor, 65, arrived in his quintessential ‘Bhidu’ style. Oh, and with a plant in his hand as well. Just Jaggu Dada things!

A black suit worn over a matching black shirt was his sartorial pick for the night. His shirt, as is usual, was half unbuttoned. Adding that signature Jackie Jazz to his look for the event was a traditional red cap, a black scarf around his neck and his black-rimmed eye glasses. A suit with a traditional cap? Yes, that’s how effortless and natural the OG Hero is with his style. Sorry Tiger Shroff, but your dad's got game!
No wonder, when Jackie Shroff’s photos from the NMACC fashion gala surfaced on the internet, it sent desi Twitter into frenzy. Words like “winner”, “undefeated” and “king” were bestowed in his honour by his fans. Of course, there was also chatter about the plant he carried and his commitment towards environmental protection.

For the uninitiated, Jackie Shroff has been very vocal about planting more trees and protecting the environment. Be it a wedding, birthday party or a large-scale fashion gala like the one hosted at NMACC, Bhidu Jackie Shroff is often snapped arriving with a plant.
